What Will You Do?
You will be the first full time designer on the Etherealize team, which means wearing a lot of hats:
- Own the design and UX of our application interfaces. Understand the workflows for the various financial markets we’re supporting, and design beautiful, intuitive interfaces to make their lives easier.
- Collaborate directly with clients. Join workshops with institutional partners, gathering feedback, and iteratively refining the user experience to exceed their standards.
- Own design across the company. As our dedicated designer, you'll elevate everything we touch—from product interfaces to company materials, websites to presentations.
Who Are You?
- Financial interface expert. You've designed production grade financial applications. You understand how to present complex data, handle multi-step workflows, and meet the high standards of institutional users.
- Complex data grid experience. You have experience designing for AG Grid or similar interfaces that present large datasets. You know how to make spreadsheet-like interfaces both powerful and beautiful.
- Autonomous design leader. You're comfortable being the sole designer on a team, owning the entire design function and making strategic decisions about visual direction and UX.
- Client-facing professional. You excel at work-shopping ideas directly with clients, incorporating feedback gracefully, and translating business requirements into elegant design solutions.

Employment Details
- Location: New York, NY or Austin, TX
- Compensation: $200,000 - $240,000 base salary + equity
- Candidate’s final comp package highly variable based on prior experience, qualifications, job-related skills, and interview performance
