Trillions of dollars of loans still settle on decades-old infrastructure. We're rebuilding it. We're hiring a product manager who builds: someone to define the features that move a real market on-chain.

This is not a roadmap-management or stakeholder politicking role. You'll directly own features from loose ask to shipped product and stay hands-on to shape how we transform global markets.

‍

Why Etherealize?

Etherealize is building the rails to bring Wall Street into the 21st century.

With $40M in funding from Electric Capital and Paradigm, we are bringing together the best minds from Ethereum and Wall Street to rebuild the infrastructure that underpins the financial system — faster, safer, fully on-chain.

Loan markets move trillions of dollars on systems built decades ago. You'll turn how those markets actually work into products that transform them, defining the features institutions will use to move real capital. The MVP is live with institutional clients; most of the product is still ahead of us.

What Will You Do?

If you're the right fit, you likely recognize yourself in many of these:

  • Define features end to end. Take an ambiguous ask from a client or domain expert and turn it into the problem, requirements, user flows, and a spec that our engineering team builds from with little rework.
  • Make the product calls. Decide where data belongs, how users navigate to it, and how much detail to show. Experts supply the market mechanics; the product decisions and nuanced judgment are yours.
  • Keep engineering moving. Own a set of feature areas and keep a steady supply of defined, designed work ready so engineers are never waiting on product.
  • Work with design. Partner with the design team to turn specs into wireframes and prototypes, and stay with a feature through iteration. Make quick changes in Figma yourself when that's faster.
  • Turn client requests into product. Learn our clients and markets well enough to understand what a request really means, then scope it to fit the core product instead of becoming a one-off build.
  • Ship and iterate. Review built features against the spec, make the call on what's ready, and feed what you learn back into the roadmap.

Who Are You?

You are an execution-focused product manager who builds. You'd rather define the next feature than run meetings about it.

  • Based in New York City (preferred) or Austin, Texas. This is a hybrid in-office role (3 days per week); not remote-eligible.
  • A builder with real delivery reps. You have years of taking features from concept through spec, design, and engineering handoff. You may have done it in fintech or a market-adjacent domain, or you started as a financial analyst, trader, or operations specialist before moving into product. The instinct for clarity matters most.
  • Fluent in financial products. You understand debt and credit basics: rates, payment schedules, principal and interest. Loan-market expertise is not required; we'll teach you the market.
  • Detail-oriented. In this market a spec that's 95% right is wrong, and you like it that way.
  • A fast learner. You ramp quickly on unfamiliar domains, and you ask the questions that get you to the real mechanics.
  • AI-fluent. AI is a working tool in your product process: drafting specs, research, first-pass prototypes, with judgment about what not to hand off to it. Our product team already works this way and we expect you to help us take it even further.
  • Conscientious across locations. Product, engineering, and design sit in different cities. You keep yourself in step without being chased, and know how to prioritize effectively to stay aligned with the team.
  • Bonus: familiarity or interest in design and Figma, enough to make quick changes yourself.

What's In It For You?

  • Career-defining scope. Own feature areas end to end, from first conversation to shipped product, in a market being rebuilt from scratch.
  • Immediate impact. Your specs don't sit in a queue. Engineering builds what you define, and institutional clients are actively asking for more product than we can keep up with — demand is ahead of the roadmap.
  • Learn a market from the people who built it. You'll work alongside the co-architect of ClearPar, one of Wall Street's most-used settlement platforms, and a team from Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan, Blackstone, the Ethereum Foundation, and more.
  • A market, then markets. The core product is built to carry beyond loans. You’ll have the opportunity to take it into each new market we enter.
